Salary: £16,524 - £17,719 per annum.

37 hours per week

Your role: 

We are offering exciting opportunities to join our professional Lifeguard and Recreation team. The Senior Leisure Assistant position occupies a highly visible, supervisory role, so excellent interpersonal skills; confidence, the ability to lead a team and strong customer focus are pre-requisites for the post.  

As a Senior Leisure Assistant, you will ensure to the satisfaction of the Assistant Manager the safe and efficient day to day operation of sports and leisure facilities and ensure that an excellent customer service standard is maintained throughout the centre.  

You will provide support to the Assistant Manager as required in the operational management of the centre, by acting as a key holder in opening/closing of the site as and when required.

We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude towards this crucial role in our organisation.  You should have a flexible approach to work and a strong commitment to the highest standards of customer care, having the ability to lead a team by leading by example.

Applicants MUST hold:  

National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and evidence of ongoing/regular training to maintain competence

Appropriate training, in pool water testing qualification is preferred.
