Salary: Grade 3, £9,281 - £9,656 per annum. £9.62 - £10.00 per hour

18 hours 30 minutes per week

Your role:


As a Scheme Assistant you will be part of a Team who are dedicated to ensuring that residents within the Sheltered Schemes are supported to live happy and active lives in a safe environment, whilst encouraging them to remain independent, confident and build up resilience where necessary.
You will be expected to ensure that the cleanliness in our Schemes is managed and maintained to a high standard by carrying out cleaning duties.
Working closely alongside the scheme manager to identify and facilitate activities to keep residents active and healthy
Provide low level assistance to residents enabling them to remain independent.

About you:

A keen interest in working with older/Vulnerable people and the drive to make a difference. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and have a positive approach towards the service. A calm and professional manner is required especially when handling emergency situations and the ability to handle confidential information with tact and sensitivity is a must.

Have a flexible approach to the role, be willing to working differently and be able to work closely alongside your colleagues, teams in the council and partner agencies to ensure the successful outcomes for residents are achieved.
