Salary: Grade 14 - £49,857 - £53,485 per annum
37 hours per week
Your role:
You will lead a team of staff responsible for reforming housing policy and practice across all tenures in the borough.
This includes council housing, social housing provided by registered social landlords and the private sector.
You will also set the strategic direction for adaptations and sheltered housing reform. In addition to managing teams who oversee all adaptations to people homes in the borough and will be reviewing and repurposing sheltered council housing stock to ensure it provides the right environment for people to age well.
About you:
You will be an inspirational leader with the ability to motivate teams working in a fast paced environment in a significant period of change for housing.
You will have significant experience of managing change and take an innovative approach to service delivery and the supporting policy around this.
You will be highly creative in your approach and not be afraid to try new ideas that deliver great outcomes for people.
You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and manage relationships across all providers, charitable and voluntary agencies.
