Salary: Grade 5, £11.27 per hour - £11.96 per hour

 

Howe Bridge Leisure Centre: 17 Hours per week,

Leigh Leisure Centre: 22 hours 20 minutes per week  term time,  14 hours per week non term time

 

Howe Bridge Leisure Centre: 23 hours 15 minutes per week term time, 14 hours 9 minutes non term time

Your role:

To work within a Be Well team of Swimming Teachers providing instruction/teaching across the Wigan Borough.

To provide a high-quality service in accordance with the swimming programme to ensure participants achieve their swimming goals.

About you:

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and passionate swim teachers with experience of teaching school groups, LTS programmes, Parent & Child lessons and one to one lesson’s. Ideally you will have experience of teaching Swim England’s LTS framework.

You will need to be an approachable, positive role model with a fun, engaging approach and a talent for teaching that meets individual's needs. You’ll need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach to working hours, to suit the needs of the business with the natural ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with our customers and potential customers, putting people at ease, with a real “can-do” attitude; nothing is too much hassle for you
