Salary: Grade 5, £15,209 - £17,445 per annum. £9.92 - £11.38 per hour

 

35 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year

Newbridge Learning Community is a Special School for 11-16 year old students who have an Educational Health Care Plan for Social, Emotional Mental Health. The school takes a holistic approach to learning, utilising a varied range of approaches to enhance the learning and wellbeing of our young people. Our central aim is to enable our pupils to feel valued and respected as individuals and to see them constructively involved in the life and work of the school. We therefore, look to appoint a successful applicant to enhance the existing staff team.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

Have experience of working in an SEN / SEMH school context

Be highly motivated with the ability to engage others

Experience of working successfully with difficult to engage pupils in order to raise their attainment is essential

Build effective relationships with the whole school and outside agencies
