The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, caring, dedicated and effective Teaching Assistant Level 2 to be based in our Year 4 class. 
   

The successful applicant will provide additional one to one support for a named pupil with additional needs due to a medical condition. They will be part of the team and as such will work alongside the class teacher in meeting the daily needs of this child and supporting her mobility around school. In addition they will work with the class teacher in the assessment and planning process to ensure the academic needs of this child are met.
   

The successful candidate will also be required to support teaching staff on playground duty and will be required to provide lunch time supervision for the named individual. Part of the role will also involve delivering interventions to both individuals and small groups. 
   

The successful candidate will need to:

  • be an effective communicator with all members of the school community
  • be hard working, caring and highly motivate
  • have experience of working in a Key Stage Two classroom
  • have the ability to build good relationships with staff, children and parents
  • be a good team player who has a positive work ethos
