Your role:

The Allocation and Accommodation team match households and family’s needs making best use of the full range of housing stock that is available particularly properties that have adaptations.

As a Housing register assistant, you will provide advice and assistance to vulnerable applicants and tenants in relation to their housing options. You will also work as part of a team to seek alternative accommodation for individuals and families who are facing housing issues due to their specific requirement which will allow them to reach their full potential and lead independent lives.

You will be highly motivated with a passion for providing a quality service and you will give your best every day. You will work on your own initiative, be a problem solver and a confidant decision maker. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to explore with families and other agencies the exact requirements of a household. You’ll be a great communicator with people at all levels and will deal with situations in a professional manner and handle confidential and sensitive information tactfully.
