Salary: Grade 4, £3,740 - £3,969 per annum. £9.74 - £10.33 per hour
9 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year
Temporary until July 2020
Working hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 3:15pm to 5:30pm, during school term time.

The Governors of St. Luke’s Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a Childcare Assistant to work 1:1 with an SEN child in our ‘well-run breakfast and after-school facility’ (Ofsted, February 2013), commencing as soon as possible.
With an average turnover of £100k, and a register of over 100 children, St Luke’s Safe and Sound Club provides before and after school care for school aged children attending St Luke’s, a local primary school, and local high school.
We are looking for someone with:
Experience of working with children with special educational needs
Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
Knowledge and understanding of child development and learning processes
Experience of working as part of a team in a childcare environment
Qualification to NVQ Level 2 playwork/childcare, or equivalent, or willingness to work toward within an agreed timescale
Excellent communication skills
Excellent Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
Commitment to professional development
Commitment to following the school’s Christian Ethos
