We are looking to appoint a dynamic and pro-active Learning and Pastoral Support Officer to join our effective pastoral team.

The role will require monitoring and evaluating appropriate strategies for KS3/KS4, student progress tracking, target setting and mentoring. Taking the lead on all aspects of pastoral care for a year group and identifying barriers to learning will also be pivotal to this role.

The post holder will lead assemblies on current themes and issues as well as to celebrate student achievement and will manage relevant Parents’ Evenings under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team.

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are essential and an ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external agencies.
