Salary: Grade 10, £36,153 - £39,961 per annum.

 

The salary is subject to the 2019 National Joint Council pay award and any local agreements

 

37 hours per week

 

Your role:

 

You will manage and support the work of the adult locality social care team based in Leigh.  You will have a proven track record of effectively supporting adults in the community.  You will be supervising a team of experienced and newly qualified Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) Social Workers and will support them fully with casework, managing the flow of work coming into the team and allocating cases appropriately.  You will be a lead in chairing safeguarding strategy meetings within the locality.

 

About you:

 

You will have a proven track record of supporting vulnerable adults in the community and hospital settings and be confident in working independently and as a team member.  You will have excellent customer care skills and be eager to promote positive behaviours in the workplace as well as being a motivational supervisor who is eager to engage your team to provide outstanding care and support to our service users.
