The salary is subject to the 2019 National Joint Council pay award and any local agreements

37 hours per week

Your role:

 

The Quality Performance Officer will support the implementation of further changes and service improvement to the adult social care market in Wigan.

 

You will need to demonstrate a passion and drive for improving outcomes and life chances for Wigan residents.

 

You will be resilient and energetic, who in line with the Care Act 2014 and the Care Quality Commissions new framework can support both the development and implementation of a local approach to comprehensive quality assurance informed by people in receipt of services and their experiences.

 

You will work directly with partner organisations who deliver care and support and with people in receipt of services and their respective families.

 

You must have the ability to effectively support such organisations to continually develop service improvements, leading to a better customer experience, which is a key performance indicator of the post.

 

You will strengthen a wide range of relationships ensuring a proactive approach to quality assurance which is informed by all stakeholders, with a particular focus on local residents and experts through experience.

 

You will also be required to support and inform all aspects of the commissioning cycle.
