Salary: Grade 8 - £28,221 - £32,233 per annum

The salary is subject to the 2019 National Joint Council pay award and any local agreements

Your role:

Would you like to assist in the delivery of a wide range of housing growth and regeneration projects?

You will work with a range of external partners from both the public and private sector to ensure that housing projects are delivered on time, are resourced appropriately and that housing projects delivered with partners meet local needs and contribute to the council’s vision to make Wigan a place where people want to invest, live, work and visit.

About you:

You will demonstrate significant experience of housing development or regeneration preferably gained in a social housing background. You will have the ability to manage and deliver a number of projects working with a range of partners and consultants.

You will have knowledge of regeneration and housing delivery processes, including financial, planning and legal requirements. You will possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, along with the ability and confidence to provide advice and guidance to elected members, customers and build positive working relationships.

About us:

This role is based in the newly formed new build and regeneration section within the Council’s Growth and Housing team whose objective is to deliver homes to support growth and meet need across Wigan borough.
