Standish Community High School is advertising for a highly effective, dynamic forward thinking Subject Leader for Health & Social Care.

The successful candidate must:
Be accountable for leading, managing and developing the subject / curriculum area.
Be able to lead the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies, assessment and teaching and learning strategies in the department.
Take part and complete all standardisation exercises as prescribed by the exam board.
Demonstrate a passion for the subject and the ability to engage students with a variety of teaching strategies.

Any offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced criminal record check with barred list through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), medical clearance, references and verification of qualifications satisfactory to the school
