Salary: Grade 3, £10,986 - £11,430 per annum. £9.36 - £9.74 per hour

27 hours 30 minutes per week, term time plus 3 days working 38 weeks per year

The Governors of Wood Fold Primary School wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide support within the EYFS.

The job will involve working with individual children, groups and whole class support as necessary. The successful applicant will be based with one class for the majority of the time but could work with other children as required. Flexibility is essential as our Learning Support Assistants move around to suit the needs of the children.

We are looking to appoint someone who is able to:
Support the overall development, academically, socially and emotionally of all children;
To have high expectations of all children and their specific needs in a fully inclusive school;
Supervise and provide support for all children ensuring their safety and access to learning activities;
Work under the instruction/guidance of teaching staff to undertake work / care / support
Programmes / plans to enable access to learning;
Assist with the development and implementation of individual education / behaviour plans / individual care plans;
To provide intervention support to the student with barriers to learning on a one to one
Basis, in a small group or in or out of the classroom
Work as part of a team to ensure high quality provision and care
