Grade 4 - £13,413 - £14,922 per annum. £9.18 - £10.22 per hour

 

The salary is subject to the 2019 National Joint Council pay award and any local agreements

21 hours per week

 

Your role:

 

As a Support Worker you will be part of a team supporting customers within a day service, support service users with everyday life skills and activities. Our customers have varying levels of abilities and you will be required to deliver a high standard of care and provide support in accordance with individual support plans.  You will offer support to encourage individuals to maintain their independence and self-worth and you will also assist in developing strong links within the community. 

 

About you:

 

You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with customers, families, agencies and other relevant professionals to maintain high quality care. You will have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team that provides activities that stimulate and encourage inclusion and active participation.

 

You will have experience of working within a social care setting and be committed to person centred practices. You will be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate others. You will seek out opportunities for the benefit of our customers and their well-being.
