Salary: Grade 3, £13,182 - £13,715 per annum. £9.36 - £9.74 per hour

27 hours per week, working full time

Working hours Tuesday to Friday 1:30pm – 6:30pm, Saturday 8:15am-3:15pm

The Directors of Learning Together Trust are seeking a Mobile Caretaker who will be wholly committed to the Trust’s interests and the children’s welfare and safety. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Finance Director as part of an enthusiastic and conscientious premises team across all schools within the Trust.

Main Duties and Responsibilities are:
  • The security of the building and contents, efficient use of lighting and heating, cleanliness of premises and porterage duties.
  • reporting defects and safety hazards regarding the building fabric, site and fittings to the Finance Director, to ensure that standards required by the Directors are maintained.
  • Routine handiwork and maintenance to be undertaken regarding the involvement of the usage of the school premises as may be deemed necessary.
  • To provide some evening cover when the school building is available for lease.
  • To respond to security call outs from time to time.
  • To play a key part in making the establishment a safe and pleasant place to be in for children, parents and staff.

Flexibility and mobility is essential as you will be required to work additional hours in any of our schools in the event of staff absence.
