Salary: Grade 12, £45,859 - £49,427 per annum.

37 hours per week

Your role:


You will lead and maximise the effective delivery and payment of Council Tax reductions, Housing Benefits and free school meal entitlements and associated and the administration of Financial Assessments to all customers.

You will be responsible for the provision of legislative guidance for the assessment and administration of Housing Benefits, free school meal entitlements, associated processes and the administration of Financial Assessments.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team of staff delivering a range of customer driven services and you’ll provide them with support to explore options that will maximise revenue and deliver long term solutions facilitating a Digital by Default service.

You will be customer focused, highly motivated and intensely keen to make a positive difference to the team and the way our customers can access the range of services available to them. You will be a great communicator who is used to dealing with a range of people at all levels both internally and externally. You’ll be a motivational team leader who will inspire and support staff to provide outstanding customer service and encourage them to develop new ideas to improve the service
