Salary: Grade 4, £18,795 - £19,945 per annum. £9.74 - £10.34 per hour

 

37 hours per week

 

Your role:

 

As a support worker in Shared Lives you will have a great opportunity to join a team that makes a real difference to people in the borough through the implementation of The Deal for Adult Social Care & Wellbeing.  You will work with Shared Lives Champions and customers, focussing on people’s strengths, gifts, talents and qualities to help them to realise their goals, dreams and aspirations.  You will play a key part in empowering the people you support to develop greater links in their local communities and beyond.  You will work on a rota basis which will include some evenings and week-ends.

 

About you:

 

You will have a good understanding of Shared Lives and the asset based approach and utilising person centred approaches in delivering a service.

 

You will be innovative, creative and flexible in your approach to your role to ensure the best possible service is provided to customers.

 

You will be a self-confident, passionate and driven individual, who has high expectations of themselves to deliver a quality service to customers.

 

You will be an excellent communicator with a high level of interpersonal skills which will support the development of positive working relationships with customers and champions.
