Programmes and Partnership Manager
Public Health

Healthier Wigan Partnership

Wigan Life Centre South
College Avenue
Wigan

WN1 1NJ

Salary: Grade 12, £44,632 - £48,104 per annum

37 hours per week

Your role:

You will establish a place based, integrated care provider partnership supporting the work of a number of multi-community provider arrangements to deliver and radically transform health and social care in Wigan and Leigh, in order to meet the needs and preferences of the local population.

You will lead a small team to deliver a range of transformational change programmes through project reporting arrangements, including risk, issues, benefits, interdependencies and other highlight reports.

About you:

We are looking for an energetic, positive and skilled individual to work with us to develop our plans and realise our ambition. You will be a high performing team player, with knowledge of project and transformation management methodology (e.g. Prince 2, Managing Successful Programmes), and experience of supporting complex transformation programmes.

You will also have a passion to re-imagine how health and care services are delivered and the skills to deliver significant transformational change at pace across a range of organisations and systems.

About us:

The Healthier Wigan Partnership (HWP) is an alliance of health and social care partners with an ambition to transform the way we deliver health and social care in our borough. This is ground breaking innovation in a place where you will be backed to think differently and empowered to deliver.

We already have a number of programmes underway within the Wigan Locality Plan, which are delivering new integrated approaches such as Community Services, Start Well and the development of GP clusters which places primary care at the heart of our delivery model.

As an employer we like to thank our employees for their hard work and commitment by giving them the opportunity to access a range of exclusive rewards and benefits.

For further information, please contact Kirsty Ratchford on 01942 828111 or email K.Ratchford@wigan.gov.uk.
