Salary: Grade 3, £13,108 - £13,638 per annum. £9.62 - £10.00 per hour
31 hours 15 minutes per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

The Governors of St. John’s are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (temporary subject to SEN funding) who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to support the total inclusion of a child with special educational needs. Applicants must be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school.
Applicants should have experience of:
- Working with children with difficulties in:
- Communication and interaction
- Social and emotional wellbeing
- Concentration skills/motivation skills
- Excellent behaviour management skills including positive reinforcement and feedback
- English and maths skills
- Delivery of Speech & Language programme and English and Maths interventions.
- Record keeping in relation to children’s progress.
All applicants should have the ability to work on their own initiative; be flexible to the child and class teacher needs; have a caring nature and the ability to work as a team member. Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
