Grade 4, £9.18 - £10.22 per hour

 

30 hours per week
Salary: £14,371 - £15,988 per annum.

25 hours per week
Salary: £11,976 - £13,323 per annum.

 

Your role:

 

As a Mobile support worker, you will be part of a team supporting customers within their own homes or in a residential or registered setting; you will offer support with everyday life skills and activities.  As our customers have varying levels of abilities and you will be required to deliver a high standard of care and provide support in accordance with individual support plans.  You will offer support to encourage individual’s to realise their goals and aspirations and you will also assist in developing strong links within the community. 

 

You will be required to work on a rota basis which will include weekends, bank holidays, sleep-in duties and unsociable hours.  

 

About you:

 

You will be an excellent communicator who is able to develop positive relationships with customers, families, agencies and other relevant professionals to maintain high quality care.  You will be used to support individuals with complex needs or disabilities.

Supporting Excellence Team forms part of our People Directorate under Adult social Care. Our Mobile workforce provides flexible support adults with learning disabilities in various models/types of accommodation in the Wigan and Leigh area.
