The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our small, friendly and happy pre-school and out of school club team.

We are a new setting with rapidly increasing numbers. As such, there may be the possibility to extend these hours in the future.

The setting is open from 7.45am – 5.30pm, offering pre-school provision for 3-4 year olds and a breakfast and after school club for children aged 3-11.

The post is predominantly based within the pre-school but may include working within the out of school provision.

The successful candidate would: 

• Love working with children

• Believe in a child centred approach to learning

• Hold a minimum level 2 full and relevant early years qualification (see attached documents for further details of appropriate qualifications)

• Have experience of observing, planning and delivering the early years curriculum

• Have a good understanding of how children learn and how to support this

• Have a flexible approach to work and a good sense of humour

• Have a good understanding of safeguardingWork well as part of a team

It would be an advantage for those applying to have experience working with children with speech and language needs.

Visits to the pre-school are actively encouraged. We are holding visits on Tuesday 21 November at 4.30pm and Friday 24 November at 10am.
