Salary: Grade 4, £8,862 - £9,859 per annum. £9.18 - £10.22 per hour

 

18 hours and 30 minutes per week

The working pattern for this position will be working Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays

 

Your role:

 

We are looking for a Business Support Service Officer to join our team within the Children’s Directorate who support children, young people and their families in need. 

 

Reporting to a Senior BSS Officer, you will provide day to day administration support to assist with the achievement of the team’s functions through delivering a high standard of customer care to service users, colleagues and other professionals.  

 

About you:

 

You will have a Level 2 qualification in Administration or the ability to demonstrate a similar level of knowledge, skills and experience. 

 

As a Business Support Service Officer you will need a high level of organisational skills, a good level of experience in using a range of Office IT packages, case management and record management systems. You will also have experience of attending meetings and transcribing accurate minutes.

 

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a range of staff and services users. You should also be able to collate information and present this clearly in a suitable format.
