Salary: Grade 3, £9,987 - £10,390 per annum. £9.36 - £9.74 per hour

25 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

The Governors of Our Lady’s R.C Primary School are seeking to appoint a creative, motivated and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant.

The job will involve working with individual children, groups and whole class support as necessary. The successful applicants will be based with one class for the majority of the time but could work with other children as required. Flexibility is essential as our Teaching Assistants move around to suit the needs of the children.

You must enjoy working as part of a team and have a great sense of humour. You must be determined to help our children progress and have the initiative needed to personalise support. You will have excellent behaviour management and a nurturing approach. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference and work with a strong team.

Previous experience of a range of interventions is desirable. Please state on the application which interventions you are trained in or have delivered. Your literacy and numeracy skills must be of a high standard with a good understanding of the national curriculum in both subjects. Training and support will be provided as required.
