Meadowbank Primary school is a popular thriving Community School, which enjoys excellent partnerships with parents and the local community.

 

The Governors wish to appoint an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support to a child with Special Education Needs within our Early Years setting.

 

Working hours:

  • Monday - 12:15pm – 3:15pm
  • Tuesday - 12:15pm – 6:00pm
  • Wednesday - 12:15pm – 3:15pm
  • Thursday - 12:15pm – 6:00pm
  • Friday - 12:15pm – 6:00pm  

You will need to have a clear understanding of the Early Years framework. We are looking for a person who works well in a team, has a nurturing approach but can also work independently using their initiative. Experience of working in Early Years is essential.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Have a clear understanding of the Early Years framework
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Work independently using initiative
  • Have experience of working in Early Years
  • Support children with additional needs 
  • Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour
  • Be committed to sharing best practice
  • Be flexible in their approach, open to new ideas, a team player
  • Be someone who has an approachable manner, both personally and professionally, and a good sense of humour
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues and pupils
  • Take an active part in all aspects of school life – willing to go the extra mile
  • Place safeguarding at the heart of their teachings
