Grade 4 - £8.72 - £9.85 per hour

 

20 hours per week, term time plus 2 days and 20 hours, working 38 weeks per year

 

Your role:

 

You will be based at Lowton CE High School and will assist the Catering Supervisor / Cook in Charge with the daily running of this busy kitchen.   

 

The main duties will include food preparation, cooking and serving, cleaning and dealing with customers, and supervision of the catering team as required. 

 

You will be handling cash, using a till, banking and cash reconciliation.

 

You will be compliant with Health and Safety, Food safety, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), and manual handling.

 

About you:

 

You will be a good cook who is passionate and dedicated to the role to provide the best service possible to staff, children and visitors to the school. 

 

You will promote a professional image at all times as a representative of MetroFresh and the school. 

 

You will have the initiative to be able to work without supervision, but will also work well within a team environment.
