Salary: Grade 7, £25,295 - £28,785 per annum.

 

37 hours per week

 

Your role:

 

You will work closely, together with partners across the public sector and community to achieve the best outcomes for residents.

 

You will play an active role within the place-based teams working alongside partner agencies ensuring flexible, local solutions are driven by the needs and priorities of service users and their communities.

 

You will work within the community to recruit and develop volunteer connectors and support them into the wider borough-wide volunteering support.

 

You will build and maintain community connections and relationships with the community and voluntary sector which can support vulnerable families and individuals to access positive networks within their chosen communities.

 

About you:

 

You will have a passion for people and community engagement, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.

 

You will have experience of working alongside ward Councillors and officers, across wider public services and the voluntary and community sector.

 

You will have a good knowledge and understanding of asset-based community development approaches and tools. You will have the commitment and experience of supporting communities and making positive change.

 

You will be confident in engaging with residents on a day to day basis and able to gain a deep understanding of community needs and priorities
