The Ethnic Minority Achievement service is looking for a suitable qualified HLTA or higher. The job is borough wide and you would be required to work at various schools teaching English to individual or small groups of children from Ethnic Minorities including Gypsy Traveller background.

Your Role

You will work independently broadly during school hours in a variety of settings, planning and evaluating lessons, creating learning activities and liaising with class teachers and other partner agencies to maximise learning achievement.

About You


You will have recent experience of working in the classroom and experience of supporting bilingual pupils. You will be self- motivated and good at working independently, you’ll be a great communicator with a positive and non-judgmental approach.
