The Headteacher and Governing Body of Bedford High School seek to appoint an effective and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA): Student Intervention to join our team.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age and experience of working with students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will need to be able to remain calm and positive in challenging circumstances and be able to relate well to students and adults; working with the wider school community. Previous experience of working as a HLTA would be desirable. You must hold a current valid driving licence or can demonstrate the ability to travel as required using own or public transport in the most effective manner.
