This is an exciting opportunity to join our residential service as the registered manager of one of our respite homes for children between the ages of 8 years to 18 You will lead the team to ensure the delivery of outstanding residential respite is achieved to children young people in your care.
You will be responsible for a large team of residential staff, which will provide a range of creative support for children with complex needs.

About you:

You will be a committed, passionate individual with a proven track record of improving outcomes for the most vulnerable children with complex needs. You will have a solution-focused positive attitude and hold an appropriate professional based qualification to be registered with Ofsted.

You will be part of a high functioning team and will passionately lead our ambitious service offer to improve outcomes for children accessing respite care.

You will be flexible in your approach and required to work evenings, weekends on a rota basis.

You must have a minimum of two years’ experience working with children in a residential setting (within the last 5 years) and at least one year working at a supervisory level. You will have experience in supervising, guiding and supporting staff, managing budgets and completing detailed and analytical reports.

You will have a thorough knowledge of The Children’s Home’s Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards, as well as The Children’s Act 1989 and all other relevant legislation and guidance, to operate the home to a Good/Outstanding Ofsted grading
