18 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

The Governing Body of Gilded Hollins are looking to appoint a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dedicated staff team in this very successful and popular community school. The job will be worked over 3 days. The mornings will be spent supporting in class whilst the afternoons will be spent providing nurture provision.

The successful candidate will:
Enjoy working with children
Have experience of and preferably teaching and working with primary aged pupils and an understanding of safeguarding procedures
Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Be able to plan and work independently and under their own initiative
Enjoy working as part of a team
Be well organised and have a positive outlook
Have a willingness to go the extra mile
