Salary: Grade 5, £16,078 - £18,442 per annum. £9.92 - £11.38 per hour

 

The salary is subject to the 2019 National Joint Council pay award and any local agreements

 

37 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year

 

Temporary to cover maternity leave

We’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Learning Mentor who will:

work closely with children, their families, school staff and other professionals to identify and address barriers to learning. 

provide pastoral care and support to pupils for their mental and physical welfare, encouraging positive attitudes and behaviour around school;

line manage and develop lunchtime support staff ensuring consistency of standards and appropriateness of activities

be the Deputy Designated Child Protection Officer and provide support including attending meetings as necessary.

co-ordinate and deliver intervention strategies and intervention packages, both internal and external, for vulnerable pupils and

establish good relationships and further develop links with the wider community through Event co-ordination, Toddler Group, Family Learning, school representation at PTA meetings/events etc.
