Meadowbank Primary school is a popular thriving Community School, which enjoys excellent partnerships with parents and the local community.
The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide support initially in Lower KS2, and to cover classes throughout the school when necessary according to the needs of the school. This post is 32 hours and 30 minutes per week, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 12.15pm, and 1.15pm to 4.00pm.
You will need to have a clear understanding of the new national curriculum and the expectations of children in each year group throughout the school. We are looking for a person who works well in a team, has a nurturing approach, but can also work independently using their initiative. Experience of working in KS2 is preferable but not essential.
