Salary: Grade 4, £14,244 - £15,115 per annum. £10.00 - £10.62 per hour

32 hours 30 minutes per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year

Candidates must have GCSE’s in English and Maths Grade C or above or equivalent level of qualification in both subjects (proof will be required). Also required is NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent level of qualification in relevant area. (this information must be specified on your application form).

Landgate is a School for learners aged 4-19 with Autism and/ or Communication and Interaction conditions. We are in an exciting position and looking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and resilient Level 2 Teaching Assistants. The successful candidates will have evidence of outstanding classroom practice and be able to engage and challenge learners to achieve. Candidates should be willing to operate as part of the staff team supporting the learning, wellbeing and development of all learners under the direction of Senior Leads, Teaching and Pastoral staff. This may be working with learners with additional needs from 4-19 years within the general classroom setting or providing individual 1:1/small group support, although not essential that they have had experience of all phases. Successful candidates with be able to develop positive relationships, inspire and motivate our learners to achieve.
