An opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant Level 3 (TA3) SEN Communication Support Worker to join the SEND team at Dean Trust Wigan.

The Governing Body is now seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 (TA3) SEN Communication Support Worker.

The successful candidate must have experience of working with hearing impaired students and also have the following signing qualification: Signature Level 3 Certificate in British Sign Language (Level 2 will be considered).

Amongst other duties, the work will involve supporting a Deaf student in mainstream classes and on a 1:1 basis to ensure full access to the curriculum and help ensure the pupil has high aspirations and is empowered to be employable in the future through a variety of routes including university, training or apprenticeships.
