The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring Teacher of History to cover a vacancy until the end of the academic year.  The successful candidate will be part of an effective team in the next stage of its development.

The successful candidates will:
  • Be an excellent classroom teacher who can inspire and excite pupils about their learning at all key stages
  • Have a good Honours Degree (or equivalent) in History or related subject
  • Be able to teach History up to, and including, A Level
  • Ability to teach within the humanities (RS/Geography) desirable
  • A clear and demonstrable proficiency in use of behaviour for learning
  • An aptitude for, and commitment to, improving teaching and learning
  • Be confident with the use of data for tracking student progress
  • Demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils and the local community
