Required for 30 October 2017

Winstanley Community Primary is a school where “pupils have highly positive attitudes to their work… and behaviour is outstanding”, “all staff work as part of a closely-knit team and morale is very high” and “teaching is of a consistently high quality across school” (Ofsted Outstanding across all areas November 2016).  We are a large, two form entry school with a nursery, but despite the size, we maintain and nurture a caring and supportive ethos where everyone matters.  Our school motto is “Everyone, Every Day”.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a temporary full time Teacher, for a Year 3 maternity leave.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate that they:

  • are an excellent practitioner with a passion for teaching
  • put children at the heart of the learning process
  • have very high expectations of all children
  • are able to work collaboratively with colleagues across school
  • are prepared to support the development of the curriculum
  • are willing to contribute fully to the life of the school.
