HR Advisor – Job Evaluation and Establishment Management

Your Role:


We have an exciting opportunity to join the HR Systems & Resourcing team as a HR Advisor. Within this role you will provide support to managers and staff in the use of the integrated HR and Payroll system (iTrent) and other electronic systems. You will be responsible for providing a job evaluation service and support the effective management of the establishment within iTrent.

You will be required to support the Assistant Business Partner – MI during the period of submission of large scale statutory returns and liaise with the Resourcing work stream to support the recruitment approval process. You will work closely with the HRESC team, council departments and partner organisations, providing support and guidance to resolve day to day iTrent queries and support the effective administration of the employee self-service function.

About you:

You will have excellent IT skills with experience of working in a fast paced environment. Your outstanding customer service skills will ensure you support colleagues and managers across the organisation to provide a seamless service. The ability to analyse problems and generate innovative and appropriate solutions is essential, together with an accurate and methodical approach to your work.
You will have a proactive and positive attitude, and the ability to offer solutions to issues. The desire to identify improvements to systems and processes would be advantageous to this role.

The Resourcing and HR Systems team is part of the HR Employment Service section within HR & OD. We are a small team with a heavy deadline driven workload who are looking for someone to join us to support in the further development of our services.

The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of HR systems which support the organisation, schools and external customers. We provide a number of services including job evaluation, payroll builds, management information and recruitment.
