Location: Working in Schools and at home

 

Salary: £550 per day. £1100 per psychological advice.

 

Temporary 3 month freelance positions

 

Wigan Educational Psychology Service are seeking qualified Associate Educational Psychologists. Educational Psychologists will work face to face with children, families and staff in education settings to provide psychological advice for statutory assessments within agreed timescales. All assessments are to be carried out face to face.

 

Associate EPs will maintain a good level of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) according to current professional standards and must be registered as a practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). 

This role falls outside of IR35.

 

Your role:

 

Wigan Council is seeking experienced Educational Psychologists to work as Associate EPs. This role is independent from Wigan Council and paid on a set day rate of £550 per day. You will be available for an agreed set number of days per month to support statutory service delivery. This is for an initial 3 month contract.

 

You will be committed to supporting our aim to achieve the best possible outcomes for children through providing high quality psychological advice for statutory assessments in accordance with JPLG guidance and our quality assurance framework.

 

About you:

 

You will be an experienced, HCPC registered Educational Psychologist who is committed to achieving the best outcomes for children. You will have excellent communication and social interaction skills and be able to apply psychology effectively to improve outcomes for children and young people through providing high quality psychological advice.
