Salary: Grade 8, £33,945 - £38,223 per annum.

 

37 hours per week

 

Temporary until June 2025

 

Your role:

 

The role of marketing officer will support the efficient and effective provision of a first-class marketing service on behalf of the council’s leisure and wellbeing service; Be Well. The successful candidate will deliver integrated marketing plans and campaigns in partnership with the service manager based on the operational strategy and commercial objectives.

 

The overarching aim is to encourage residents to lead active and healthy lifestyles by utilising the Be Well Leisure Centres and promoting the wellbeing services available across the borough and further afield. You will also be responsible for the ongoing marketing activity promoting our Be Well Outdoors offer and support the launch of the new web presence working with internal and external colleagues.

 

About you:

 

You will be passionate about promoting leisure and wellbeing services and determined to support commercial targets. You will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or have an equivalent level of work experience. The ideal candidate will be creative, energetic and strategic to ensure campaign objectives are met.
