The governors are seeking to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic and committed, class teacher to join our highly successful school and motivated staff team.
Rowan Tree is a specialist primary school for pupils with severe and complex needs (4 – 11 years.) The school was graded outstanding by OFSTED in September 2017 and were recognised as an accredited provider for pupils with Autism by the National Autistic Society during the spring term 2021. The whole school team are committed to continually building on these successes.
We are looking for
- An excellent primary trained teacher with experience of working with individuals with severe and complex needs.
- An energetic practitioner with knowledge skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies to make a positive impact on the progress of pupils with severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum conditions.
- A teacher skilled in the use of technology and digital media to enable pupils to demonstrate their learning.
- A highly motivated, innovative person with enthusiasm and commitment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- An interest in play and outdoor learning.
- A positive and solution focused attitude.
