Salary: Grade 5, £24,702 - £27,334 per annum. £12.80 - £14.16 per hour

 

1 x 37 hours per week, Permanent 

2 x 37 hours per week, Temporary until April 2026

 

Your role:

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Collections and Recovery team within Customer Experience and Support. You will enable and support the collection of Housing Rents, Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates and other council income streams.

You will accurately update and record all aspects of Rents, Former Tenant Arrears, Council Tax, Business Rates and any future business records when creating and amending recovery stages, household, tenancy and property liability records using data multiple times across systems where appropriate.

 

You will predominantly work Monday to Friday and hours will vary between 7:00 am and 19:00pm in line with the needs of the service.   You will on occasions be required to work Saturdays and in such circumstances you will be allocated equivalent time off Monday to Friday. This will be assigned on a rota basis.

About you:

 

You will have the ability to work well as a team but also on your own initiative, when required. You will be organised and have excellent IT skills across a variety of online systems.

 

You will have the ability to maintain excellent levels of accuracy and efficiency and be passionate about providing the best possible service to Customers.

 

You will possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people on a daily basis.
