Newbridge Learning Community is a 90 place Special School for 11-16 year old students who have an Educational Health Care Plan for Primary needs which is Social, Emotional Mental Health. The school takes a holistic approach to learning utilising a varied range of approaches to enhance the learning and wellbeing of our young people.

Our central aim is to enable our pupils to feel valued and respected as individuals and to see them constructively involved in the life and work of the school. We therefore look to appoint a successful applicant to enhance the existing staff team delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment across both KS3 and KS4.

The successful candidate will:

• Have substantial experience of working with SEN students in particular with SEMH and positively managing behaviour in the classroom and wider school.
• Be highly motivated with the ability to drive up standards and lead others across the PE department
• Have experience of working successfully with difficult to engage pupils in order to raise aspirations and achievements.
• Build effective relationships with all stakeholders and work proactively in all aspects of school life.
